DIALOGUE
Created a dialogue system that is editable and can be replicated across multiple actors. This involved embedding dialogue into a chart, with comments or responses in rows.
- Team members were easily able to implement new dialogue for characters and immediately test the pacing in-game
- Can scale up for longer conversations without being messy, as a traditional dialogue tree setup may easily get

Reputation and Currency are two values you manage throughout the game. Depending on the dialogue choices you make, dialogue can be neutral, or add/subtract to the values.
- Triggers for events can be embedded. In the game, some response choices will open up dialogue for other characters, and there are also checks for if you have a certain item, reputation, or currency amount.
BIDDING
- Players must use their currency to bid on artwork. Because your currency level often changes, bidding required a slider with a minimum/maximum level that changes dynamically.

- In order for a bid to be successful, players must have sufficient reputation. The better your reputation is, the less you have to spend.
ENEMY / PASSIVE NPCS
An enemy NPC can start in one of three different passive states: Patrol, Guard, or Scout. Hearing and Sight are set up and trigger different behavior states, and the values for each can be edited across each individual NPC. Our game is focused on stealth, so once you are attacked and upon collision with the enemy you "die".
Passive behavior for NPCs during the day include roaming around and stopping at designated points of interest.
OTHER
